A healthy young generation is the national wealth of each country. Therefore, providing high-quality summer recreation and recreation for our students and teachers, as an important component of a full and healthy development, is one of the main tasks of the Academy.
The sports camp of our academy “Southern Bug” is located in a picturesque forest park, in the ecologically clean Savransky district of the Odessa region, on the Southern Bug river. Deciduous forest and river bank is the perfect combination of a special outdoor recreation in comfortable conditions. The territory of the Southern Bug camp is more than 2 hectares, which gives plenty of room for recreation, sports and interesting recreation for all members of the large team of the academy.
Through the efforts of the chairman of the ONAFT primary trade union organization, the department of physical culture and sports, as well as the deans of the faculties of MM and L, TS and ST, ITH and RSL, T and TPP and PB, a student labor detachment was organized, which carried out work to improve the amenities in the sports and recreation area camp “Southern Bug”. 16 guys, led by teachers of the department of physical culture and sports and the camp director, cleared the mud and leaves of the sports grounds and beach area during the week, cleaned dry branches and debris from the territory of the camp, which in the spring suffered from flooding, cleaned up summer residential houses .
Students and teachers made every effort to make this picturesque place near the Southern Bug River more comfortable for those who will soon arrive here to rest.
Despite the large amount of work done on the improvement of the sports camp during the day, the students gladly took part in table tennis, football, basketball, entertainment and sports competitions and relay races. In a short time, students from different faculties became the only friendly team that not only did a good job, but also got healthier, received a powerful boost of cheerfulness and positive emotions.
