March 30, 2026, at the ONTU Sports Complex, the official opening ceremony of the All-Ukrainian Student Volleyball League “Side by Side” 🏐 took place.

This large-scale sports project brought together student youth from different parts of Ukraine, creating a platform for development, team spirit, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

Distinguished guests addressed the participants with welcoming remarks:
• Viktor Syniavskyi — Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Odesa Regional State Administration
• Kateryna Yukhymenko — Head of the Mass Sports Department in the Odesa Region
• Larysa Ivanchenkova — Rector of Odesa National Technological University
• Anatolii Basov — Acting Vice-Rector for Academic, Organizational, and Educational Work at ONTU
• Rodion Yahotin — Head of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, and Military Training at ONTU
• Mykhailo Zotov — President of the Odesa Regional Volleyball Federation

The participants were wished bright victories, fair competition, and unforgettable emotions from the tournament.

During the opening ceremony, ONTU Rector Larysa Ivanchenkova was awarded a Certificate of Honor for the university’s significant contribution to the development of mass sports in the Odesa region.
