XV FESTIVAL OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND ARTS

On April 26, 2022, the 15th Festival of Culture, Sports and Arts was held at Odessa National University of Technology. This year, the celebration of strength, beauty and talents gathered more than two hundred participants. Due to the martial law, sportsmen’s competitions and performances by amateurs were staged remotely.

The organizers and jury worked in the ONTU sports complex. The stream was led by Tetyana Turpurova, head of the department of organizational and educational work. Everything that happened at other venues could be watched online on one of the Internet platforms. Technical support was provided by Nadiya Pokhlebina, engineer of the ONTU IT laboratory.

The festival began with a moment of silence for Ukrainians killed in the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The participants of the festival also honored the memory of the liquidators of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

Students of all faculties took part in sports competitions. The execution of physical exercises was monitored by a team of judges under the leadership of judge of the highest category Tetyana Sergeeva.

After an active warm-up, students performed several control exercises in their places of stay.

The winners were Victoria Hudz (Faculty of Innovative Food Technologies and Restaurant and Hotel Business), Valeriya Kapusta (Faculty of Management, Marketing and Logistics) and Vyacheslav Chepil (Faculty of Low-Temperature Engineering and Engineering Mechanics).

Festival participants and guests who visited the online platform were delighted with their online performances by the soloists of the “Novellus” academic choir (director Tetyana Bulatova) and the dancers of the choreographic studio “ChampioN” (directors Anastasia and Oleksiy Bevzyuk-Silla).
